I was getting so bored with my regular workout. I saw an advertisement for the kickboxing class. At first I was hesitant to give it a try since I haven't done kickboxing in years. I put my fears aside and tried the class. I am really grateful that I took the class. Instructor Kabir is very encouraging and supportive. After taking three classes, I signed up. I always look forward to each class because it's always exciting and different. Also, it's the best workout that I ever had.. I highly recommend EMA and Instructor Kabir.

EMA is a wonderful place. I take the morning kick boxing classes. I've been taking classes for 3 months and can feel a difference in the way my clothes fit. We originally signed up our 1st grader. He has tried other studios in the past and this is the first he's felt at home. The instructors are patient and really care about their students. After a few weeks of watching our son, our 3 year old daughter was asking to "play". So, they have an amazing starter special to see if your child is interested. We signed her up and she loves it! We have never seen her so focused on an activity! If you want to teach our child to listen and focus on an activity, set goals and stick them out, wear them out, I highly recommend their studio!

An excellent program for kids all ages! All the instructors are very enthusiastic, structured, organized and helpful. The best part is their constant uplifting and support, especially at the end of each day when one kid is celebrated as a superstar of the day, the recognition really helps boost child's self esteem and confidence.

FAQs

Do virtual martial arts classes offer the same benefits as in-person classes?

Yes, with one exception. Virtual classes don’t have the same social atmosphere as in-person classes, but they provide the same physical and mental benefits as our regular martial arts classes.

Do I need any special equipment to enroll in a virtual martial arts class?

All you need is loose, breathable workout clothes. You may want a mat as well, but it’s not a requirement. If you already have a uniform from a regular martial arts class, you can wear it.

How can I be sure I’m doing the workout properly?

Our instructors will provide the same detailed instructions and demonstrations they would in a live class. You’ll be able to follow their instructions to ensure you are mastering each skill you learn.

Are virtual classes live or can I set my own schedule?

The classes are available live and for most students, this option offers the ideal experience. However, we recognize that not everybody’s schedule is the same. If you can’t attend the class when it’s happening, we make recordings available, so you can work out on your own schedule.

Will taking a virtual martial arts class help me to lose weight?

It can. The best way to lose weight is to combine a regular fitness routine with a healthy diet that’s rich in fruits and vegetables. Your body will respond best to foods that have plenty of nutrients.
